RBB Achieved LEED Gold Certification for 1937 VA Reno Hospital Building Renovation

RBB completed the seismic upgrades of the original 1937 hospital wing, Building 1A, at the VA Medical Center Reno. This building was a fully occupied space, located at the main entrance to the campus. The 21,000 SF project includes interior tenant improvement, exterior building envelope improvements, new MEP systems, and accessibility upgrades. An entire new building entrance and remodeled lobby were required for ADA code compliance. Detailed phasing was planned for all construction to minimize disruption of services. The project received LEED Gold Certification this month.
