Melissa received her Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Texas Tech University and her Master of Architecture from Pratt Institute. After working in Texas and New York on government, higher education and commercial projects Melissa moved to Los Angeles and joined RBB in 2010. She led the implementation of internal BIM standards and has authored a comprehensive set of standards and guidelines that have been adopted by several of the firm’s health care and college clients. During her time at RBB Melissa has worked on a variety of architectural projects including laboratories, hospitals, clinics, medical office buildings and higher education projects. Melissa has 13 years of experience in all aspects of project management from pre-programming through design, and construction. For the past 9 years she has worked extensively on hospital projects including Martin Luther King Community Hospital, Valley Presbyterian Hospital and Cedars Sinai Medical Center. Melissa has championed the intern development program at RBB and worked to set up a partnership between RBB and Woodbury University’s IPAL program since it was introduced in 2015. Melissa was named Associate Principal in 2015 and has been included in ENR California’s Top 20 under 40.
