The Los Angeles Jewish Home has initiated the Grancell Village Transformation project at their Reseda campus, located at the southwest corner of the intersection of Tampa Avenue and Sherman Way at 7150 Tampa Avenue, Reseda, CA.
The non-profit Los Angeles Jewish Home is one of the leading senior systems in America. They currently serve over 6,000 seniors every year with diverse community programs and services. As the largest single-source provider of senior housing in Los Angeles, they are home to more than 1,000 women and men who live on their campuses in the San Fernando Valley.
The project offers options for home residents including independent living, residential and assisted living care and memory care. It also provides multiple programs that will enhance the quality of the residents’ lives, their families and their care takers.
RBB Architects Inc. was engaged during the programming process; the team was guided by the planning principles and mission of the Los Angeles Jewish Home: Excellence in senior care reflective of Jewish values with core values that focus on Charity, Quality, Dignity, Jewish Values and Fiscal Responsibility.
The project includes the development of a residential community comprising of two buildings: Bagno Towers and Polak Family Building. Both buildings provide Assisted and Independent Living Units and Polak has one floor dedicated to Memory Care. Community programs include a Performing Arts / Chapel, Kitchen and Dining, Creative Expression Center, Beauty / Salon / Spa, Game Room, Bistro / Bar / Café Area, Fitness Center, Aquatics Center and a Clinic.
